Open Positions

Linux Administrators I and II

We are looking for experienced System Administrators with the skills and abilities to rapidly troubleshoot problems in systems and services in Linux. They will be working with other sysads, developers, and hardware engineers to build highly-available infrastructure, as well as maintain existing ones.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
    • Level I:   1-2 years
    • Level II:  2-6 years
  • 4-year degree in relevant field
  • Strong understanding of CentOS and Ubuntu
  • Strong understanding of IP Networks and protocols
  • Expert understanding of Shell Scripting / Linux command line
  • Strong understanding of hardware issue troubleshooting
  • Experience in building and maintaining highly-available enterprise software tools
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in the infrastructure required to serve web applications
  • Experience in Chef & Jenkins
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience in Agile Scrum software development
  • Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English with high attention to detail

Network Integrator I

The Network Integrator I role is the first point of contact for hardware and networking issues at customer installations, communicating with internal staff or technicians deployed at these facilities and providing technical support.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in relevant field
  • Availability to work on after-hours rotation, including nights and weekends with advance notice
  • Strong understanding of IP Networks and protocols
  • Some exposure or knowledge of Unix/Linux and IP networking
  • Familiarity with command line interfaces (Windows, Linux, or other)
  • Excellent phone communication skills with the ability to debug and set up over the phone
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with attention to detail

Bonus points (not required, nice to have):

  • Cisco configuration experience
  • Troubleshooting OS X Mac computers and iOS-based mobile devices
  • Troubleshooting Android based mobile-devices


Front-end Javascript Engineer

These web magicians are experts at bringing designs to life, by developing functional and appealing cross-platform applications using a combination of markup languages and Javascript frameworks.

Desired skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of web development experience
  • Front-end Development experience working with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, JS frameworks
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Familiarity with design software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems
  • Experience in building and managing enterprise software tools
  • Experience in Agile Scrum software development
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with attention to detail

Bonus points (not required, nice to have): 

  •  1+ years of Ruby on Rails development (Rails STRONGLY preferred)
  • A professional foundation that includes strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Java development experience

Software Engineer

We are looking for developers who like to solve hard problems and write clean code and are passionate about how web technology is changing the world.

Desired skills/qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Ruby development (Ruby on Rails preferred) on top of 5+ years of service-based software development
  • SQL development skills (preferable with MySQL)
  • Multithreaded development and Frontend Development: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML
  • Experience in building and managing enterprise software tools
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in web development.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum software development and Project Planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline

Bonus points (not required, nice to have): 

  • A professional foundation that includes strong C programming skills and Java Development experience
  • Experience working in a small (ideally startup) company where every individual’s contribution is key to the company’s success
  • Asterisk Dialplan / AEL experience
